Statement from Brian Hemlock

GHENT, NY (01/25/2013)(readMedia)-- Today we received a copy of the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control's report on its investigation of the accidental fire of August 1, 2012, that destroyed TCI's facility. We look forward to thoroughly reviewing the report and its findings. While we deeply appreciate the efforts of the investigators, who spent many hours interviewing witnesses and examining evidence, there are a number of unfortunate inaccuracies regarding the nature of our business, our relationship with an onsite service contractor and the nature of the materials being treated on our site. The report affirmed that the fire was accidental and concluded that it originated in a portion of the facility that was utilized by the service contractor. We wish to again thank the first responders who answered the call when the fire was discovered, and members of the TCI team who have worked hard to maintain and grow our business in the months since. We look forward to rebuilding in Ghent.
