Statement from SUNY Delhi President Candace S. Vancko on NYSUNY 2020

DELHI, NY (05/04/2011)(readMedia)-- "I applaud Governor Cuomo and Chancellor Zimpher for joining together to help lead New York's economic revitalization through NYSUNY2020. This new program will help make SUNY's University Centers catalysts for economic development in the state. In making this announcement, the Governor indicated he sees all SUNY campuses playing important economic development roles in their communities, and we are hopeful that this is the first step toward making all campuses, including Delhi, part of NYSUNY 2020 in future years.

It was also exciting to hear Governor Cuomo voice his support for a rational tuition policy for SUNY at today's press conference. A rational tuition policy that is fair, predictable and responsible will protect access and affordability and ensure students and their families can plan for the cost of a SUNY education."
