CHICOPEE, MA (11/16/2009)(readMedia)-- Elms College freshman swimmer Tessa Dudunake of Northampton, Massachusetts broke two school records and earned three first place finishes to help pace the women's swimming team to a 149-109 victory over St. Joseph College (Maine) on Saturday, November 14.
Dudunake clocked a blazing time of 58.37 in the 100-yard freestyle to set a school record, besting Kaity-Jo Bryll's mark of 59.61 set in 2006. Dudunake also set a school mark in the 100-yard individual medley by registering a time of 1:07.03, topping Liz Walker's time of 1:08.84 set in 2007.
Dudunake notched an impressive time of 1:13.39 in the 100-yard breaststroke to garner top honors in the event. She was also the anchor leg for the Blazers in the 200-yard freestyle relay that scored a winning time of 1:49.87.
