ALBANY, NY (04/08/2013)(readMedia)-- The Business Council of New York State, Inc. announces the hiring of Howard Becker as its new Vice President of Membership.
Becker has a long career in fundraising for many State officials, campaign committees, and members of both the US Senate and House of Representatives. He has extensive experience in recruiting and managing a national database of major donors; coordinating seated dinners and other events, and he has served as a liaison to business, community groups and lobbyists.
"Howard is considered one of the best campaign and political advisors in New York", said Heather Briccetti, president and CEO of The Business Council. "His experience will be invaluable to us as we go about planning and promoting our legislative agendas. We are thrilled to have him on board."
Becker received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Albany.
