The Business Council Set to Kick Off New York Technology Roundtable Series

ALBANY, NY (01/07/2013)(readMedia)-- The Business Council of New York State is proud to announce the creation of The New York Technology Roundtable, an informal group of professionals in the technology sector. The Technology Roundtable is a luncheon seminar series that will serve as a central resource for our members and the greater technology sector in New York for news on state and federal policies, events and other industry developments. Each meeting will feature a speaker on a topic of interest as well as industry updates, and an open discussion forum.
The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the Hotel Albany, from 11:30 a.m. and to 1:00 p.m. The topic: State Contract Procurement: The Changing Landscape for Technology Companies. Guest speaker: John Traylor, Chief Procurement Officer, NYS Office of General Services and Ron Greenberg, First Deputy Director of the NYS Division of the Budget.

Registration fees per event is $35 / Luncheon for Business Council Members, or $175 for the full Series; $45 / Luncheon for future members, or $225 for the full series.
