The Business Council and ANGA present a June 11 seminar on how natural gas affects businesses

Business Power explores how natural gas can improve a company's bottom line

BUFFALO, NY (05/17/2013)(readMedia)-- The Business Council of New York State and the American Natural Gas Alliance (ANGA) will present the seminar, BUSINESS POWER: HOW NATURAL GAS IS CHANGING BUSINESS, TRANSPORTATION, INDUSTRY, MANUFACTURING AND OUR ENVIRONMENT, at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott, in Amherst, Erie County from 8:30-11:45 a.m., Tuesday, June 11.

"Many companies are already lowering costs and increasing profits by using natural gas in business operations," said Heather Briccetti, president and CEO of The Business Council. "We are proud to work with ANGA to help companies learn more about how using natural gas can enhance their business and their bottom line."

BUSINESS POWER will investigate how the "natural gas revolution"? the use of natural gas to power offices, manufacturing facilities, and vehicles – is changing the face of business. Attendees will hear from experts who will discuss everything from supply and economic projections, to how natural gas can affect a company's future.

Other topics will include how industries currently use natural gas, and how using it enhances both profits and air quality.

The sessions will appeal to various levels of company decision-makers, including fleet, facility, and business managers; business owners; and large energy consumers.

Scheduled speakers include Craig Jackson, founder and chairman of CNG for Upstate NY, and Erik Solomon, general energy consultant at National Fuel Gas Distribution.

Featured exhibitors including Cobey, Inc., Clean Communities of Western New York, and National Fuel will be on hand to meet one-on-one with attendees and discuss how their businesses can benefit from the transition to natural gas.
