The College of New Rochelle Appoints Karen Helfenstein, S.C. to Board of Trustees

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (08/22/2011)(readMedia)-- Sister Karen Helfenstein of West Chester, PA has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of The College of New Rochelle, NY. She is a nurse educated at Saint Vincent's Hospital and Hunter College in New York. After entering the Sisters of Charity of New York, she received her Master's in Public Administration at Long Island University. Sister Karen is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives and she has a certificate in Bioethics from Georgetown University and a certificate in Mind Body Medicine from Harvard. In August 2006, Sister Karen joined Catholic Health East (CHE)in 2006 as Director of Mission Services and Spirituality.
