NEW ROCHELLE, NY (11/18/2011)(readMedia)-- The College of New Rochelle Blue Angels (1-1) hosted the Brooklyn College Bulldogs (3-0) Thursday night at The Wellness Center. CNR had early foul trouble as leading scorer Freshman, Tra'Leassa King of Yonkers, picked up two fouls in the first five minutes of the contest, leading to Brooklyn's 15-4 run to start the game. The Blue Angels fought back as Holly Cammota made a three pointer, with 5:46 left in the first half, to cut into the Bulldogs lead and make the score 17-10. From there Brooklyn College controlled the game holding CNR to 32% percent shooting in the second half and winning the game 70-31.
Holly Cammarota, who went to St. Vincent Ferrer High School in the Bronx, and is now a Sophomore at CNR, had 14 Points and 4 rebounds and Freshmen Tra'Leassa King finsihed the night with 8 points and 6 rebounds.
