CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (03/05/2018) (readMedia)-- CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Rev. Ron Edmondson, lead pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, Ky., will be the keynote speaker at Campbellsville University's third Kingdom Advance Network event on Thursday, March 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the university's Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.

Edmondson is a nationally-known Christian leader with an impressive history of church growth and church planting. He has had 35 years leadership experience in both secular and Christian environments.

Dr. G. Ted Taylor, vice president for university outreach, said, "This will be a time of inspiration, reflection and connection.

Over 20 years ago, Edmondson founded a non-profit ministry called "Mustard Seed Ministry," which provides devotional resources, conducts family, marriage, parenting and church leadership seminars.

Edmondson's specialty is organizational leadership, and, in addition to his role as a pastor, he consults with church and leaders. He loves assisting pastors and those in ministry by thinking through leadership, strategy and life.

Edmondson will also be speaking on his book, "The Mythical Leader," at the meeting.

He received a master's degree in seminary and organizational leadership from Austin Peay State University along with degrees from Luther Rice Seminary and Eastern University.

Edmondson and his wife, Cheryl, have two sons, Jeremy and Nate, and a daughter-in-law, Mary, married to Jeremy.

Relevant breakout sessions for deeper ministry connection will be led by the staff of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Doors will open at the chapel at 9 a.m. EDT. Lunch will be provided with Dr. Michael V. Carter, Campbellsville University president, delivering a report of the university's progress.
