Join the American Lung Association in New York this Earth Day to honor outstanding contributors to lung health

NEW YORK, NY (04/21/2010)(readMedia)-- Join the American Lung Association, an organization that leads the fight against air pollution on Earth Day and every day, at their 2010 Life & Breath Awards Gala.

WHAT: 2010 Life & Breath Awards Gala. This black tie affair will be co-hosted by multiple award-winning actress S. Epatha Merkerson and Co- Anchor of CBS Channel 2 News at 5 and 11 p.m., Chris Wragge. All proceeds will support the Lung Association's mission to save lives by preventing lung disease and promoting lung health.

WHEN: Thursday, April 22; featuring dinner, dancing, an awards presentation and live and silent auctions. The event begins at 6 p.m. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. Awards presentation to begin at 7:10 p.m.

Sean Swarner, two-time cancer survivor, published author, world-class athlete and founder of the CancerClimber Association
