SCHENECTADY, NY (11/16/2009)(readMedia)-- Transfinder today announced that the company has expanded its Development and Implementation Teams with the addition of Barry Klein as software developer and Rocco Manitta as customer project manager.
Prior to joining Transfinder, Klein was employed by Jager Building Systems, a wood products engineering company located outside of Toronto, Canada, where he worked for seven years developing software applications to help clients build homes. In November 2007 Klein moved to the Capital Region and worked for Jager remotely until September 2008. He also worked for Criterion in Saratoga Springs, a company that analyzes results for prescription drug testing.
Klein is a graduate of Mohawk College in Ontario, Canada where in 2000 he earned his Associates degree in Computer Programming. Klein also contributes to his community by collecting unused baked goods from Hannaford and delivering them to the Schenectady Inner City Mission.
As a customer project manager, Rocco Manitta will be working closely with clients to help them achieve their objectives by managing their software implementation timelines and ensuring they are moving at a productive pace. Manitta joined Transfinder after working with Open Solutions as a localization manager, where he was responsible for structuring their software for international markets.
Manitta also worked with Xerox in its Global Services Division as a Senior Client Litigation Manager, training their clients' attorneys on their software to manage their information and use it most effectively. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 2001 and in 2006 he earned his Bachelor of Science in management from the University of Phoenix.
