KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (05/03/2011)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling North Gulph Road, between First Avenue and Guthrie Road in King of Prussia, to be prepared for single lane closures starting Tuesday, May 3 at 9 a.m.
There will be lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays through May 13. Work will be conducted under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
Part of the Turnpike's future reconstruction and widening project between milepost 320-326 currently in design, GAI Consultants will perform test drilling for improvements to the Turnpike mainline bridge that carries I-76 over State Route 422 and North Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Final design will continue on this project through 2012 and construction is anticipated to begin in early 2013.
