Varun Konanki Achieves Athletic Honors at The Loomis Chaffee School

WINDSOR, CT (04/07/2011)(readMedia)-- The Loomis Chaffee Athletics Department gathered recently with varsity student athletes, their parents, coaches, and Head of School Sheila Culbert to celebrate the accomplishments of Pelican teams this winter. Director of Athletics Bob Howe and other members of the Athletics Department bestowed honors upon Pelican athletes for their participation and dedication to varsity teams.

Senior Varun Konanki of Newton was presented with the Coaches' Award for Wrestling.

The Loomis Chaffee School, located in historic Windsor, Connecticut, is an internationally recognized college preparatory school for grades 9-12 that fosters critical thinking and a global perspective in talented students from around the state, the country and the world. Since 1914, the school has offered educational opportunities for boys and girls regardless of religious or political beliefs, national origin, or financial resources.
