WAMC'S THE ROUNDTABLE BROADCASTS LIVE FROM TANGLEWOOD

ALBANY, NY (07/02/2014)(readMedia)-- WAMC is proud to present a special edition of The Roundtable with a live broadcast from Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts on Thursday, July 3rd from 9 a.m. to noon.

The show will include Roundtable Panel current events discussion with hosts Joe Donahue and Alan Chartock, Mark Volpe, managing director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Kevin Moran, editor of The Berkshire Eagle. Other guests include celebrated soprano and musical ambassador Renée Fleming; conductors Asher Fisch and William Eddins; Joshua Ingraham of Boston Gourmet; representatives from Shakespeare and Company and The Mount, and more.

President and CEO of WAMC, Alan Chartock says, "WAMC loves Tanglewood, and we love our relationship with the BSO. Every year we are thrilled to interview so many of the people who make it all work and to bring their perspectives and insight to our listeners." This is the first of two scheduled Tanglewood broadcasts of The Roundtable this summer. The next will be on August 1st.
