ALBANY, NY (05/11/2012)(readMedia)-- This weekend, Saturday May 12th and Sunday May 13th 2012, WAMC Northeast Public Radio will be represented at the 64th annual Albany Tulip Fest in Washington Park. WAMC is a regional public radio network serving parts of seven northeastern states. These include New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, with a mission to bring high quality, commercial free radio to our region. Tulip Fest will feature rides, raffles, prizes, vendors, children's activities, craft vendors, delicious food and multiple stages with nationally acclaimed musical performances. . Tulip Fest also presents an opportunity for WAMC to reach out to the community and meet with many of our listeners face-to-face, to thank all of our incredibly dedicated members for their support and to answer their questions as well as to make new friends and to talk about our upcoming fund drive, which begins on June 4th.
