ALBANY, NY (09/30/2009)(readMedia)-- WAMC/Northeast Public Radio's flagship morning program, The Roundtable, will broadcast live from the 10th Annual Woodstock Film Festival in Woodstock, NY on Friday, October 2nd between 9:00 a.m. and noon.
Scheduled guests include Festival Director Meira Blaustein, The Messenger director Owen Moverman, actress/producer Lucy Liu, Against the Current writer/director Peter Callahan, Producer and Trailblazer Award Winner Ted Hope, animation programmer Bill Plympton, a panel of short-film makers and more.
Roundtable Producer Sarah LaDuke says, "We're ecstatic to be able to broadcast The Roundtable from the Woodstock Film Festival on this important anniversary. For 10 years the festival has highlighted everything we love about movies. There is the entertainment aspect, of course, but also they also concentrate on the importance of thought provocation through the art of film. WFF and WAMC are a good fit."
