Wausau native honored by Marquette University's Department of Biological Sciences

MILWAUKEE, WI (05/23/2013)(readMedia)-- MILWAUKEE – Joseph Burclaff, son of Mark and Phyllis Burclaff, was honored with the Biological Sciences Academic Achievement Award by Marquette University's Department of Biological Sciences. Burclaff, of Wausau, Wis., graduated in May with a bachelor of science in biochemistry with a second major in molecular biology.

The Biological Sciences Academic Achievement Award recognizes outstanding academic achievement in the Biological Sciences Department by a senior majoring in biological sciences, physiological sciences or biochemistry/molecular biology. The award committee selects the winner based on a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and above, the student's sciences grade point average, and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
