WALLA WALLA, WA (09/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Weston native Ruby Glaser '12 was elected this year's Nominations Chair for the Associated Students of Whitman College (ASWC) by her peers.
ASWC provides advocacy for student issues, diverse involvement opportunities, and financial support for student initiatives.
A 2008 graduate of Weston High School, she is the daughter of Steven and Roxanne Glaser of Weston.
At Whitman, Glaser is a pschology major with a minor in education. In addition to her involvement in student government, she serves as a tour guide for the college and plays intramural sports. Glaser is also an active member of her sorority, Delta Gamma.
