Will Koch named the Oglethorpe University Male Athlete of the Week

Junior Will Koch of the Oglethorpe University men's basketball team has been named the OU Male Athlete of the Week. A Business Administration major, Koch is a graduate of Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach.

Koch led the way for the Stormy Petrels in their 71-57 victory over Warren Wilson College in the Vikings Tipoff Tournament in Mount Berry, scoring 15 points while grabbing an impressive 21 rebounds. He also passed out five assists in the process. Koch also scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds in the team's contest with Bob Jones University the previous evening.

He and the rest of the Stormy Petrels will head across town to take on No. 6 Emory University on Saturday at 6 p.m. After that, they'll head to Maryville, Tennessee, for a Thanksgiving weekend classic against Maryville College and Johnson University-Tennessee.
