William Christopher Cannon awarded scholarship to attend Wofford College

SPARTANBURG, SC (01/28/2010)(readMedia)-- William Christopher Cannon, a senior at the Academy of Richmond County, has been awarded an 1854 Scholarship at Wofford College.

Cannon is a member of the class of 2014. Parents: William C. Cannon and Cindy Kuhlke Cannon (3 Bransford Place, Augusta, Ga., 30904).

Ninety percent of Wofford's enrolled students receive approximately $32 million in scholarships, grants and loans each year. Each of the endowed scholarships funds requires that recipients demonstrate outstanding character, academic achievement, and potential for contribution to society; some have additional requirements for eligibility.
