Windsor CT Price Chopper Hosting a Caribbean Festival
On Saturday, November 8th from 11:00am to 4:00pm the Windsor Price Chopper will host a Caribbean Festival. There will be live Caribbean food demonstrations along with Caribbean food tasting. Additionally, there will be a variety of exciting store wide festivities such as: drawings and island music.
In honor of the event Senator Chris Dodd, Tracy Ann Blackwood-Deputy Consul General of Jamaica and Franz Hall from the Jamaican Embassy in Washington DC plan to visit the store and to join in the festivities. The goal of their visit is to support economic development in the Hartford market. They feel that this can be accomplished by increasing trade relations between Hartford and the Islands.
