Wistful Whistlers Win State Fair Yodeling Contest

DES MOINES, IA (08/19/2024) (readMedia)-- Contestants from across the Midwest put their skills to the test in the Whistling competition held Thursday, August 15, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.

Scott Meredith of Lincoln, NE, won first place in the Ages 17 and Over division.

Zach Bishop of West Des Moines earned second place while Diana Jackson, Kyle Yencer and Verle Spence all tied for third place.

Rowan Cornelius of Bondurant won first place in the Ages 16 and Under division.

Caedrian Van Kley of Sioux Center earned second place and Willis Burton of Villisca claimed third place.
