Wofford students study plastic accumulation in Spartanburg
This summer, Dr. Robin Lewis, Lucy Klein '28 and Jayden Loftis '27 worked to develop a methodology for collecting and testing for microplastics in small streams. They took four grab samples from 10 different creeks in the Lawson's Fork Creek watershed in Spartanburg County. Some samples were taken from the water surface, while others were taken from the water column.
