2022 Iowan of the Day

DES MOINES, IA (06/01/2022) (readMedia)-- Des Moines, IA – Characteristics of a "True Iowan": demonstrate integrity, strong work ethic, volunteer in their community, and positivitly impact those around them. The Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation and Cookies BBQ Food Products are currently seeking ten "True Iowans" to be recognized for the Iowan of the Day award at the 2022 Iowa State Fair. You can help recognize the outstanding individual in your hometown by nomiating them today.

Each of the ten Iowan of the Day winners are awarded a day of recognition at the 2022 Iowa State Fair, August 11-21, including an introduction on the Anne & Bill Riley Stage, four Iowa State Fair admission tickets, four grandstand concert tickets on their day, privilege to use the Iowan of the Day golf cart, VIP parking, accommodations at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown, and $200 cash.

Nomination forms can be found online at www.BlueRibbonFoundation.org/iotd and forms must be printed legibly or typed. All nominations are due July 1. Nominations from 2018, 2019 and 2021 will be reconsidered (no nominations were accepted in 2020). All nominees must currently reside in Iowa.
