ADVISORY: Teachout takes on public corruption this evening in Albany

Public Employees Federation president Kent to speak

ALBANY, NY (08/28/2014)(readMedia)-- PEF-endorsed candidate for NYS governor Zephyr Teachout will be making a stop on her Whistleblower Tour at 5 p.m. today on the steps of the State Education Department building at 89 Washington Ave. in Albany, overlooking the State Capitol.

PEF President Susan M. Kent will join Teachout to talk about corruption in Albany, the Moreland Commission and problems with the Common Core.

The NYS Public Employees Federation (PEF), which represents 54,000 professional, scientific and technical state and other public- and private-sector employees, has endorsed Teachout and Tim Wu in their primary bids for the Democratic Party nomination for governor and leiutenant governor, respectively.
