PEF to hold 25th anniversary Sept. 11 memorial ceremony

ALBANY, NY (09/09/2026) (readMedia)-- PEF will observe a moment of silence and remember the 34 PEF members who died during the September 11, 2001 attacks. The ceremony will take place at the memorial outside the building, to the right when you enter the parking lot.

WHO:

Speakers will include PEF Vice Presidents Randi DiAntonio and Bruce Giddings, as well as PEF and PEF Membership Benefits staff who will share memories and look back on the union's response on September 11 and the weeks and months that followed.
WHAT:

PEF will mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and honor the 34 members from New York State Tax & Finance and two additional agencies who died.
