The Alabama National Guard will welcome home the Soldiers of A Company 136th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, out of Arab, at 10:00 a.m., June 11, at the Signature Flight Support Huntsville International Airport, 2000 Houston Goodson Way, Huntsville, Alabama.
The approximately 114 Alabama Army National Guard Soldiers deployed in July 2015 to support missions for ARCENT throughout Southwest Asia in seven different countries.
During their deployment, the Soldiers of A Company 136th ESB provided tactical and strategic communication assets to units within their assigned area of operations. The company successfully kept all communication links operational for their customer units without incident or loss of communication assets.
Special Instructions: Family members and the media are invited to attend the homecoming. This event is NOT open to the general public because it is being held in a TSA secured hangar. All family members and media may NOT arrive earlier than 8:00 a.m. and will be required to remain inside the designated hangar because of TSA requirements. Directional signs to help guide you to the hangar will be placed at the airport entrance that say "Event" Please do not park in the Signature Flight Support facility parking lot. There will be parking personnel posted to guide you to the designated parking location. You must bring your own lawn chairs for seating.
