AL National Guard and AL Department of Education Partner to Offer Career Opportunities

Montgomery, AL (03/13/2017) -- The Alabama National Guard 22nd Recruiting and Retention Battalion in collaboration with Alabama Army National Guard units and the Alabama Department of Education will conduct a Citizen Soldier Career Expositions this week. This will be a one day event and the 22nd Recruiting and Retention Battalion recruiters will be present along with local unit personnel and equipment to showcase their capabilities and answer any questions that high school students may have about the Soldier's job. The event will be held at the Dothan Career Technical Center in Dothan, Alabama on March 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Area high school students will attend the exposition to explore career opportunities in the Alabama Army National Guard. This event is not open to the general public and is only for the invited high school students in the area of each event and local city and government officials. We would like to take this opportunity to invite media outlets to attend and see what the Alabama National Guard has to offer in the way of careers and benefits and how we support the citizens of Alabama in their time of need.
