PAUL, MN (05/27/2011)(readMedia)-- Concordia University, St. Paul student Sarah Jensen of Adrian, Minn., gave the welcome address to her fellow graduates during the university's commencement ceremony May 13, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., in the Gangelhoff Center on the Concordia campus. Jensen graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Vocal and Classroom Music Education and Music Performance.

Originating from the southwestern Minnesota town of Adrian, Jensen immersed herself in many of the university's extracurricular activities including the Christus Chorus, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Handbell Ensemble, Opera Workshop, various plays, the Music Club and Holden Evening Prayer. Her musical endeavors continue as a member of the Minnesota Chorale. Jensen is pursuing a career teaching elementary music.
