Redeployment Notice

11/07/2014 - Montgomery, Ala. - the Alabama Air National Guard's 187th Fighter Wing will be welcoming the return of deployed unit members on Sunday, 9 November at approximately 5:00 a.m. These men and women were deployed to Afghnistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, where the wing's F-16C+ Fighting Falcon aircraft - the "Red Tails" - provided armed over-watch and close-air-support for ground units in their area of responsibility.

COVERAGE OPPORTUNITIES:

Members fo the press will have an opportunity to interview Airmen and their families, as well as the leaders of the 187th Fighter Wing. Still and video imagery opportunities include troops in formation, and Airmen with their families.
