MONTGOMERY, AL (07/13/2016)(readMedia)-- WHO: Alabama Air National Guard's 187th Fighter Wing out of Montgomery, along with the US Air Force Recruiting Service, the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Red Tail Squadron, the Legacy Flight Academy, Inc., Golden Eagle Aviation and the National Park Service are partnering to hold this unique tribute and commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Tuskegee Airmen.
WHEN is the event: Thursday, July 14, 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
WHAT is this event about: In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Tuskegee Airmen, the Alabama Air National Guard's 187th Fighter Wing will host the 2nd Annual Legacy Open House. This event is open to the public. There will be a traveling exhibit, a 160 degree panoramic movie about the Tuskegee Airmen, see the F16 Fighting Falcons in Action, food vendors, games, prizes and giveaways. Learn about opportunities to join the Air National Guard.
WHERE is this event taking place: The 187th Fighter Wing and 100th Fighter Squadron of the Alabama Air National Guard at the Montgomery Regional Airport (Dannelly Field).
Groups are welcome to attend. Please no backpacks, coolers or pets at the event.
