American Lung Association in Michigan Celebrates 10 Years of the Fight for Air Climb

The American Lung Association is celebrating the 10th annual Fight for Air Climb on Sunday, February 28th. WHO: | Novice and expert athletes of all ages are welcomed each year to participate as individuals or on a team. The 10th annual event is sold out with over 1,500 climbers. |
WHAT: |
The Fight For Air Climb is a competitive stair climb held by the American Lung Association in Michigan. The event challenges participants to climb 71 floors (1,050 stairs) of Detroit's tallest building, the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. Participants help increase awareness and raise money for the American Lung Association’s fight against lung disease. Individuals and teams will climb to help fund lung health research, education and advocacy. |
