IT'S TIME FOR THE 2018 LUNG FORCE Walk
NASHVILLE TN (05/11/2018) (readMedia)-- Are you ready to be the FORCE and walk for a cause? The American Lung Association in Tennessee is hosting its annual LUNG FORCE Walk presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield at Public Square Park in Nashville on Saturday, May 19th.
Did you know that lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer of men and women in America? Many people are unaware of this statistic. You can help us make a difference by coming out to walk with The American Lung Association next Saturday. Your participation and fundraising efforts will help us provide programs and services as well as advocate for lung health in Tennessee!
Breakfast from Fresh Market and lunch by Judge Beans will be provided for all who attend. There will also be a kid's area featuring crafts and bouncy houses along with local circus performers from Beyond Wings circus.
The event will also include heart-changing stories from local LUNG FORCE heros and survivors, an energizing workout lead by Dani D. Fitness and musical performances by American Idol Contestant, Carly Moffa, and local artist, Kari Ann Griffin.
Blue Cross Blue Shield and CVS Health will also be on-site with lots of goodies for all, and the American Lung Association will bring back their famous Mission Village where participants can learn more about healthy air and lung health.
Over 33 million Americans are currently living with lung disease. Young or old, smoker or not, lung disease can happen to anyone at any time. We invite the Nashville community to join us in our fight against lung disease as we walk for those who can't!
