American Marketing Association Announces Finalists for 16th Annual Mark of Excellence Awards

ALBANY, NY (06/24/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) announced the finalists for this year's Mark of Excellence Awards. A distinguished panel of marketing professionals from across the country chose the ten finalists that will continue on the path to collect a 2010 Mark of Excellence award. The winners will be named at the October event.

In the next phase of judging, a panel of nationally recognized marketers will review the ten finalist campaigns. Unique among marketing award programs, the Mark of Excellence is based on both creativity and demonstrated results.

"We received many high-quality entries for this year's Mark of Excellence awards," said Cynthia Nagle, president of NYCRAMA. "Our first-round judges faced tough choices in narrowing the field down to these ten finalists. We're thrilled to have such a competitive program this year. These finalists embody the best of marketing: proven results."

The NYCRAMA Mark of Excellence Awards event showcases highly effective marketing campaigns from all-sized companies, agencies, organizations and educational institutions within the Capital Region. This year, the awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza, downtown Albany at State and Lodge Streets.
