How to Use Visual Tools to Stimulate Creativity and Innovation!

ALBANY, NY (05/14/2013)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) announces its 2013 June luncheon, "How to Use Visual Tools to Stimulate Creativity and Innovation!", Thursday, June 13th, 2013 at The Century House, 997 New Loudon Road, Latham, NY from 11:30am-1:15pm. Join NYCRAMA and speakers Mary Acquaviva, PMP, and Tracy Solarek, MBA, consultants from Line of Sight, as they discuss how to use visual facilitation to develop strategies and foster innovation for marketers. From this discussion, attendees will learn: tools to unlock creativity and engage participants; 3-5 canned graphics that can be put to use quickly; techniques for showing key relationships (volume, velocity, frequency, scale, parts/whole, and preference); as well as graphical facilitation techniques for common meeting scenarios. Mary Acquaviva, has over 25 years' experience working in public sector organizations. For the past ten years she has been primarily focused in change leadership roles on large scale IT implementation projects. A certified Project Management Professional, Mary has experience planning and leading a variety of enterprise initiatives that seek to improve organization performance including strategic planning, organizational restructures, business process redesign, IT design and adoption, communication planning and delivery, change management, culture change and leadership development. Mary is currently engaged with the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles to institute change management. Tracy Solarek, has over 20 years in marketing with three large corporations focusing on strategic planning, marketing campaigns and launch and redesign of websites. In addition, she has found success leveraging non-traditional marketing methods to increase leads, convert prospects and increase revenue at The Economist, Excelsior College, Cengage (formerly Delmar Thomson Learning) Pitney Bowes (formerly MapInfo) and various consulting gigs. Tracy is an experienced leader with expertise in identifying and executing strategies to turn around underperforming operations using business analysis, change readiness assessments and communication skills. Currently she is working with the Department of Transportation to launch social media statewide. Join NYCRAMA at 11:30am for networking; 12 noon for program.
