ST. PAUL, MN (05/27/2011)(readMedia)-- On May 13, Bloomington resident Michael D. Flynn, received the Aeterna Moliri Award from Concordia University, St. Paul for furthering the work of the church and its people through his decades of education and service to Concordia and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.
Flynn graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with an Education degree in 1975. Since then, he has taken graduate studies at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology (1999-2002) and attended Harvard's Institute for Educational Management program (1995). Flynn is a Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow, serves as a board member for several local nonprofits and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Lutheran Development Executives. Flynn is currently in his fourth year of service to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
