NEW YORK, NY (10/11/2011)(readMedia)-- Box-O-Box, the nation's leading provider of college care packages is changing suppliers to help pumpkin farmers affected by the flooding from Hurricane Irene. The pumpkins are uniquely used in its Halloween-themed care package, called, "Box-O-Ween", which is the only care package that offers a real pumpkin.

"When we heard about the impact that flooding had on farmers in Central New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Vermont, we wanted to meet and help the suppliers, the family farms, who needed the most help."

Box-O-Box will be sourcing pumpkins throughout the month of October from a variety of farmers in order to meet the demand of its best selling care package. The Box-O-Ween care package is available for pre-sale now for shipping to colleges and universities nationwide later this month.
