High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid Selects 'Spring for Hope' Grant Recipient: St. Lawrence NYSARC
LAKE PLACID, NY (12/19/2013)(readMedia)-- High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid announced the winner of its third annual Spring For Hope? initiative, The St. Lawrence NYSARC.
The St. Lawrence NYSARC was chosen based on their commitment and service in the community for persons with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
Spring For Hope is an opportunity open to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations actively supporting the community and fundraising. The grand prize provides St. Lawrence NYSARC with two nights' accommodations (up to 133 rooms), free meeting space (up to 10,000 square feet), free audiovisual and support services, and 50% reduction of all related catering for three days during the month of April, 2014.
"We received numerous applications from deserving non-profit organizations around the region," said Bob Trotter, General Manager of High Peaks Resort. "St. Lawrence NYSARC impact on their local communities is considerable.
