CHANGE TO: LC-130 Arrives at Scotia Air Base as 109th Airlift Wing Begins Returning from Antarctic Support Mis

Plane arrives at 9 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.

STRATTION AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE , NY (02/21/2013)(readMedia)-- A New York Air National Guard LC-130 aircraft assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing will return home here tonight two hours later than originally announced as planes and Airmen who have been supporting National Science Foundation operations in Antarctica begin returning.

WHO: Aircrew and passengers of an LC-130 "Skibird" which has been deployed to McMurdo Station, the National Science Foundation research facility on Antarctica

WHAT: An opportunity for members of the Capital Region press corps to record the arrival of the LC-130 and speak with the crew members and their families.

WHEN: NOW APPROXIMATELY 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb 21, 2013.
