Summary: Concordia University, St. Paul presents the opening reception for the art exhibition of Cecilia Ramon and Carla Stetson on Thursday, Mar. 4, from 5-7 p.m. at the Concordia Art Gallery. The exhibition will run from March 4-30. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. This event is free and open to the public.
Cecilia Ramon, art professor at University of Minnesota-Duluth, uses her Argentine upbringing to practice painting, sculpture and installation work. Carla Stetson is currently an assistant professor of art at Ithaca College in New York. Stetson is best known for her three commissioned public sculptures in Duluth. She works in a variety of media, including photomontage, collage and installation.
