Capital Region AMA Announces Social Media Workshop for Beginners
ALBANY, NY (10/21/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) is proud to announce its partnership with The College of Saint Rose to offer a series of workshops on topics from social media to basic website design. The first workshop is slated for October 28th-"I Signed Us Up for Social Media…Now What?"
WHO: NYCRAMA's Vice President of Internet, Miriam Paska will be conducting this social media tutorial workshop. Paska is the creative strategist at IntelliSites. She is responsible for assisting businesses in website design. Paska has a MS in Internet Business Systems from Mercy College.
WHAT: This class will be directed towards marketers who have created Facebook and Twitter accounts to keep up with growing social media trends but are unsure of how to effectively use them (for personal and business use). This class will allow participants to login to their accounts at their own workstation, and maneuver around the sites as an instructor guides them.
