Capital Region Marketers to Discuss How to Market in Challenging Economic Times

ALBANY, NY (10/20/2008)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association is pleased to present speakers Joe Ventura, of William Tell Financial Services and Denise Desmond of Desmond Media. Ventura and Desmond will lead a breakfast roundtable program titled "Marketing in Challenging Economic Times," on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Professor Java's on Wolf Road in Albany.

Ventura is the founder of William Tell Financial Services and has grown the business significantly over the last 12 years to encompass insurance and mortgage services in addition to a wide array of standard investment options. Ventura will provide attendees with an important financial perspective.

Desmond will explore the media side of marketing and discuss various options and outlets for businesses in the Capital Region. Her business, Desmond Media, has placed up to $30 million in media annually. High profile clients such as the Department of Health, United Way and Time Warner Cable have used Desmond's expertise and media plans to boost their visibility and public image.
