Capital Region McDonald's Restaurants Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness and Education

Apple Pie sales will be donated to To Life!

ALBANY, NY (10/01/2007)(readMedia)-- The McDonald's Operators of the Capital District Co-op today announced that during the weekednd of Friday, October 5 through Sunday October 7, 2007 proceeds from apple pies sold in all the Co-op's restaurants will be donated to To Life!, a non-profit organization providing breast cancer education and support.

According to Clark W. Brink, President of the Co-op, "we know that our customers, who so strongly support our charitable efforts, will be pleased to enjoy our apple pie and make a donation to this most worthwhile organization. We are proud that the 75 restaurants in the Capital District are part of McDonald's national effort to help our customers and their families become more aware of the preventive and supportive services available through organizations such as To Life!"

To Life!, which has offices in Delmar and Saratoga, New York, provides information about breast cancer, treatment options and services to patients and their families in the ten counties of the Capital Region.
