La Salle's Dr. Elizabeth Cooper presents Christina Carty with the award for top graduate in the Finance Department
PHILADELPHIA, PA (06/21/2011)(readMedia)-- Christina Carty of Langhorne was recently named the top graduate in the Finance Department at La Salle University. A dual accounting and finance major, Christina's academic accomplishments have been recognized through her induction into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society.
Christina has also earned Dean's List honors every semester and is a member of Beta Alpha, the Accounting Honor Society. She participated in the Pricewaterhouse Coopers Case Competition where, as part of a team, she analyzed a case requiring critical thinking skills and the use of financial statements to support the team's decision. More recently, Christina was involved in the Undergraduate Research Program working with Professor Dr. Elizabeth Cooper on the topic of Determinants of Bank CEO Pay.
