Judy Thalheimer of Ambler Named Top Nutrition Graduate at La Salle University

PHILADELPHIA, PA (06/21/2011)(readMedia)-- Judy Thalheimer of Ambler was recently named the top graduate in the nutrition program at La Salle University. Judy was selected to receive the academic award for the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Program due to her academic excellence and commitment to Lasallian values.
Judy is a returning student who changed careers to follow her passion about the role of food and nutrition in health. She previously founded the Philadelphia Immunization Coalition and was employed by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health where her work led to a significant increase in Philadelphia's basic childhood immunization levels.
While at La Salle, Judy achieved a 3.97 GPA . She completed the Coordinated Program in Dietetics as a nutrition intern at Temple University Hospital, Abington Memorial Hospital and Diabetes Center, Giant Food Market, Center School, and Temple University Center for Obesity Research and Education. Judy's internship supervisors have described her as an outstanding student and professional who always goes above and beyond expectations.
