Clearwater Christian College Announces New President

CLEARWATER, FL (01/16/2012)(readMedia)-- The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Clearwater Christian College announced Friday, January 13, 2012, that Dr. John F. (Jack) Klem will serve as the fifth president of the school. Dr. Klem holds degrees from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA; Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA; and Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN. He has served as Vice President of Academics and Dean of Graduate School at Northland International University in Dunbar, WI, and Academic Dean and Executive Vice President at the Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Virginia Beach, VA, where he also served on the faculty as Professor of Biblical Theology and Exegesis.
Presently, Dr. Klem is Senior Pastor of the Brookdale Baptist Church in Moorhead, MN. Klem is originally from Wilkes-Barre, PA. He and his wife Cathy have two adult children. Klem will follow current President Richard A. Stratton who concludes his ten-year tenure with the institution at the end of the 2012 spring semester.
