Common Cause/NY Responds to Attorney General James' Report
NEW YORK, NY (08/03/2021) (readMedia)-- In response to Attorney General James' report into allegations of sexual harassment by Governor Cuomo, Susan Lerner, Executive Director of Common Cause/NY, put out the followng statement:
"Not only has Governor Cuomo betrayed the public trust, according to Attorney General James's investigation, he has broken multiple laws. No elected official, much less the chief executive, can be permitted to flaunt the laws he or she is charged with enforcing. The Assembly must start public impeachment proceedings immediately."
