Community Care Physicians to Hold Ribbon Cutting and Open House at New Delaware Avenue Health Park in Delmar

DELMAR, NY (09/28/2012)(readMedia)-- Community Care Physicians, P.C. is hosting a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, October 4 at the new Delaware Avenue Health Park at the corner of Elsmere and Delaware Avenue in Delmar, 250 Delaware Avenue. The ribbon cutting will be held at 4:30pm in front of the Health Park and will include key members of Burke Companies, Carrow Real Estate LLC, BBL Construction Services, Community Care Physicians PC and the Town of Bethlehem for a press photo opportunity. The Open House, held from 5pm to 7pm on the first floor of the Health Park, is open to the public and will allow members of the community to meet with physicians and staff, tour the new facility, enroll for the new workout room on site, meet the personal trainers, and to take advantage of free body composition analysis and blood pressure screenings.

The Open House is to showcase Community Care Physicians' new custom branded look in this state-of-the-art facility which serves as a one stop shop for patients, providing better access to quality medical and wellness services.

The new 48,000 square foot multi-specialty medical building, located on this prominent corner in Delmar, is the culmination of more than two years' worth of planning and construction. Community Care Physicians occupies nearly 23,000 square feet on the first floor of the Delaware Avenue Health Park, nearly doubling the square footage CCP held at its former location. CCP has consolidated several of its primary care and specialty offices from Delmar and Albany. In addition to relocating several medical offices, the Delaware Avenue Health Park has allowed Community Care Physicians to expand its wellness services in the area. The new Delaware Avenue Health Park includes an on-site workout room that is open to the public, allowing for an easy option for getting healthier. Community Care Physicians opened its first gym location in its flagship building at The Capital Region Health Park in Latham back in 2008. Community members over the age 18 will be able to enroll in this workout room at the open house, with the official opening date being October 5th.

Community Care partnered with BBL Construction Services, LLC to design and build the Delaware Avenue Health Park; management of the facility is by Carrow Real Estate, LLC. The shared waiting area on the first floor of this building was designed with the help of BBL interior designers to create a custom branded look for Community Care Physicians.
