ST. PAUL, MN (03/24/2009)(readMedia)-- Two busloads of Concordia University, St. Paul faculty, staff and student volunteers, including the Concordia football team, will assist with flood preparation efforts in Fargo.

WHAT: | Buses leave the Concordia campus at 6 a.m., and are scheduled to arrive at the FargoDome at 10 a.m. Buses will return to the Twin Cities at about 9 p.m.

NOTES: | Summary: Concordia University, St. Paul students (including the football team), faculty and staff will board two buses headed for Fargo, N.D., on Wednesday, March 25, to aid in the urgent flood preparation efforts of the communities along the Red River Valley. They will assist with preparing sandbags at the FargoDome and also may be deployed to areas within the community to haul and place sandbags. |
