Contest Recognizes Leadership Efforts of Girls K-12 in Honoring Iconic Organization's Anniversary

ALBANY, NY (08/30/2012)(readMedia)-- In celebration of Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary as the premier organization offering leadership development program for girls, Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York invites girls grades K-12 to enter to win tickets to be part of the audience of former Girl Scout Katie Couric's new show in NYC! Prize includes round trip train tickets from Albany to New York City courtesy of Amtrak! Contestants must write an essay of no more than 500 words sharing an example of how they have shown leadership in their community. Deadline for entry is Friday, September 14, 2012.
